There are many traditions done at wedding receptions, one of the being the bride dancing with her father after she has united with the groom. An additional suggestion is to go without music during your wedding and or wedding reception. This is a very rare decision, but many people enjoy peace and quiet over music. Choose whatever feels right to you. If having a wedding band is not suitable for your ideal wedding, then go without one.
