With so much music on the scene today, it is not surprising that in this day and age, music from the past has been lost within the notes of history. However, for many bands, reunions have at least helped such individuals survive. For example, take the many eighties bands which went on world tours in the last few years, most of which have not released an album or compact disc in the last decade or longer. Thus, leaving one to question The Future Of The Music World based on the history of the past and bands now playing and touring in the present.

In addition, if not for the elder bands of the past, many current bands today would not exist. One such band, has a minimum of eight side projects, all of which have been extremely successful due to the popularity of the original band which began in San Francisco in the mid-1960s. Whereas, musicians today have a much harder time breaking through to a point where they are popular enough to play large arenas and the like.

For, many bands today host their own festivals complete with camping, headliners and workshops in which amateur musicians often collaborate with well-known performers on the bill in order to learn from some of the best in the business. So, while one may see more hip-hop on music channels than other genres at times, this does not necessarily reflect an accurate picture with the regards to the future music may hold. To this end, whether one enjoys hip-hop or other genres, one can gain a great deal of enjoyment by listening to a variety of genres and styles when it comes to music.

So with regards to the future of music, as generally individuals outgrow music over time, some may stay loyal and others may listen across a wide array of genres. Something which has become easier to do since the release of various music products such as mp3 players and the like. Of course, many individuals like to load a great variety of music and set their player to random whereas others prefer a stable blend of music from one artist.

As to the shift of consciousness, the one area which needs most attention in the entertainment community is the lack of positive music and lyrics with regards to many bands performing today. However, if one is bothered by such music, there is no rule that one has to listen to same. Although, if a band or band member may be threatening in tone with regards to an individual or group of individuals within their music, then the person need be watched carefully, especially when in concert where children are present as words can mean everything to a child infatuated by such an artist at a young age.

So, if possible listen and persuade any musicians one may know to create positive overtones in their music and performances. For, the action of one can change the actions of the many. To this end, regardless of which style of music may be more prevalent in the future, one can always use more positivity in the music of which one listens.

In recent history, some performers have been canceled and had their performances banned from a few areas due to the threatening tone of the lyrics within their music. Whether or not these performers have a future is beyond knowledge; However, one can hope to not have to listen to such negative overtones when listening to and enjoying music of any genre. Although, if one does not like such music, one does not have to listen to same. Still, when one threatens an individual or a group within their music, that is different and the issue need be addressed so as to avoid such incidents related to music in the future.

Although many people listen to music for the sole enjoyment, others listen to the lyrics intensely, this is especially true of other musicians and poets as well as fans. Generally, such individuals enjoy a wide range of styles with regards to their music as many use such as inspiration for their own writings whether that be songs or poems.
