Lesson plan for private music teachers?

I have experience of teaching before, but now I am doing it on a more professional basis, and I wondered if anyone out there had any tips on what they do in their lessons? I have started with warming up, then going onto pieces – afterwards concentrating on something like tone or expression. I teach adults at the moment, but I’ll eventually be teaching children too.
