Above all else, the question most asked is how long will it take me to learn acoustic guitar? Actually, there are three very important aspects which will decide the answer…

We’ll examine question one first. You, as every person, were born with a unique learning rate for guitar. This means that you have a maximum improvement rate built in and it varies for every possible thing you could learn. In the beginning stages you will find certain aspects of playing quite difficult, even impossible! But even the most accomplished players once started as complete beginners and with time, as you learn acoustic guitar, every obstacle now will eventually become effortless.

For my last sentence I want to again mention the word ‘practice’. To learn acoustic guitar you must be motivated to do it and find ways to keep motivated. It won’t happen overnight.
