The latest Jonas Brothers’ album is out, and it’s already the most talked about album in America! “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” debuted at #1 in the Billboard Top 200 Chart, and now it’s time for the Jonas Brothers to bring the music to your hometown.

Nick, Joe and Kevin (and Frank) got their start earlier this decade on the Disney Channel and in their short time together, they’ve already sold over 8 million albums worldwide. Nick, who plays rhythm guitar and sings, is the youngest, but he’s been performing on Broadway since he was 7, and it was his voice that got the Jonas Brothers signed to their first record deal. Nick’s also been linked to Miley Cyrus in an on-again, off-again relationship.

THe middle Jonas Brother is Joe, who also lends his vocals to the group and had a very high profile romance with country star Taylor Swift. Because of his romantic interludes, he’s been a favorite of the tabloids. The oldest brother, Kevin, plays lead guitar also sings backup. Kevin was chosen as one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive last year.

After originally signing to Columbia Records, the Jonas Brothers learned the music business, and the work it takes to success very quickly. Their debut album was woefully marketed and they made a quick decision to switch labels to secure better promotion. The self titled album then rose to a Top 5 ranking when they appeared on the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana show.

From there, their star only ascended, with their third album, “A Little Bit Longer,” peaking at #1 in 2008. During their reign at the top, the Jonas Brothers also starred in their own Disney Channel reality show, titled “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream.” It documented their concurrent tour, all while showing a more intimate side of the band, their friends and family.

The band also appeared in “Camp Rock”, a Disney Channel television movie that was extremely successful and one of the highest rated TV movies. The soundtrack to the movie enjoyed even more success, rising all the way to the top 5 on the Billboard charts. The crowing achievement for the year was an appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

After a relatively calm spring (meaning only a tour of South America and a few European dates), the Jonas Brothers returned this summer with another sure-fire hit. The time off, Nick told Billboard, was spent “trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow.” They released “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” in mid-June, and by the time of the first date on their 2009 World Tour, it had already hit #1.

The first tour date kicked off in Dallas at the newly completed Cowboys Stadium in front of 50,000 fans. After the Dallas show, the brother head to Canada before winding back down the east coast of the U.S. They will continue to tour in the United States until fall, where they will jump back across the Atlantic and return to Europe.
