Barnyard: Excited zaniness set on a farm where, after sundown, the animals turn the barn into a loud nightclub. James is Otis, a moo-moo cow who is very mature, much to the chagrin of his dad, Ben Elliott, who keeps watch for preying coyotes when the others party. Irrera stands out as Duke the Mutt. Cast includes Courtney Cox, Sam Elliott, Danny Glover, Wanda Sykes, Andie MacDowell, David Koechner, and Laraine Newman. (90 minutes, 2006)
Medicine Man: Dr. Robert Campbell is doing research in the Amazon jungle, financed by a pharmaceutical company. Campbell claims he has found a cure for cancer. The tests prove out, but there is just one problem, they can’t find the plants that the chemicals come from. With the jungle around them being destroyed for development, this cure for cancer might be lost forever.
A Goofy Movie: Ever-lovable Goofy takes his child, Max, on a street-trip vacation. However, it’s a lifestyle conflict between the ’90s boy and his old-styled dad. Easy and simple Disney animation characteristic for babies with a handful of serviceable melodies and a fine “message” in regards to dad-child relations. No Disney classic, although delightful enough. Cast includes Jason Marsden, Jim Cummings, Kellie Martin, Pillage Paulsen, Wallace Shawn, and Pat Buttra. (78 minutes, 1995)
