Guitar for beginners i just that. All guitarist started somewhere learning the basics of how to play the guitar. Learning the guitar will take a lot of dedication and practice just like anything else if you want to improve. You will not be the next Jimmi Hendrix over night but rest assured that if you keep at it you will be able to pick things up quickly.
Learning a few basic chords and strumming them out is not difficult by any stretch of the imagination. If you practice the seven primary chords for 30 minutes a day you will find that all in all it’s not to physically or mentally demanding. This is not to say you will be able to do this in a matter of minutes but the fundamentals are pretty simple if you apply yourself.
One of the hardest thing when learning guitar for beginners is holding down the right notes and chords as you strum the guitar. This will take a little while getting use to as switching notes and playing the correct chords can seem very overwhelming. It is best to take on small tasks and learn them well and move on. Soon enough you will see yourself playing more confidently.
Once you are comfortable with easily navigating through the fret board you will have to work on the hardest part of playing guitar and that is getting your strumming hand to play the notes how you want them to be played. This might sound easier than getting your fingers to push the strings down but it’s actually the more difficult of the two. Everyone that plays guitar pushes down the strings to make a chord or form a scale but its how you play the notes that gives you the sound of how you want to play them to form a song or riff. Basically, it’s not what you play, but how you play it. Always remember that learning to play the guitar for beginners is something not everyone can do easily and you should be prepared to take the time and have the patience to take on this endeavor head on.
After you have learn to physically play the guitar and strum you will move on to playing actual songs. As you are learning guitar for beginners you should start of with very simple songs and move your way up. Break down the songs into parts and practice each part until you comfortable playing them. Once you have done this you can put it all together. You will see yourself improving very quickly and you will be able to motivate yourself.
You must remember that when learning guitar for beginners you need to play and practice very regularly. The more you play the better you will become and you will be comfortable and able to eventually play in front of other people. Just keep in mind that you will really need to be dedicated and ready to put some time into it.
